The next edition of the Conference “Underground Construction”, in which we took part, has just ended. It was a meeting of representatives of the world of science, investors, designers, suppliers of equipment and building materials, as well as contractors involved in projects related to the construction of underground structures.
Many sessions and discussion panels, involving participants of the event, who were eager to speak during the polemics and benefiting from such novelties as the opportunity to ask online lecturers questions.
On behalf of COVER, Paweł Mróz appeared, who talk about the problem of leakage with which investors are struggling at the stage of exploitation of tunnels, describing specific methods. Soaking the structure with groundwater is a common problem, but you can deal with it by using injection molding technology.
In a special exhibition zone, guests had the opportunity to make new business contacts, talk about the most urgent problems in the industry, but also escape into the world of virtual reality – VR (virtual reality). At the evening banquet, the participants of the conference were filled with, among others, MultiVisual laser show and fun to the sounds of music. The final part of the 4th Conference “Underground Construction” was a technical trip to the construction site of the Łagiewnicka Route in Krakow.
